October 2025 - Rust Project Goals

The Rust project is currently working towards a slate of 1 project goals, with 0 of them designated as Flagship Goals. This post provides selected updates on our progress towards these goals (or, in some cases, lack thereof). After much discussion, we have decided to charter this team as a t-spec subteam. Pete LeVasseur and I are working to make that happen now.
